Carolyn Sue Fry, 68, of Edmond, OK passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 in Edmond. She was born on May 22, 1944 in Guthrie, OK to Frank and Marguerite (Wehrenberg) Fry. Carolyn was the youngest of 7 girls and 1 younger brother.

She had spent her entire adulthood in nursing homes in the Oklahoma City area. She enjoyed doing embroidery work and loved to color pictures. Carolyn also enjoyed playing bingo and she was well known for never missing a birthday or Christmas by always sending out cards to everyone. Her world was brightened with the many cards and pictures she received in return.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and 3 sisters: Twila Skrobarcek, Maxine Stephens and Lois Walton. She is survived by 3 sisters: Edra Hawkins and husband Charles of Warr Acres, OK; Dorthey Del Rio of Edmond and Doris Uhrig and husband Jerry of Tecumseh, KS as well as 1 brother, Leonard Fry and wife Arma of Moore, OK and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, March 1, 2013 at Summit View Cemetery, Guthrie, OK with John Hawkins of Oklahoma City officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
